Today we will learn about how to diagnose electromagnetic valve faults and common solutions
To determine the fault of the solenoid valve, we can start from the following aspects:
1. Observe whether the action of the solenoid valve is normal. If there is any abnormal sound or the action is not smooth, it is likely due to wear, dirt, or jamming of the parts.
2. Check if the power supply is normal. Low or high voltage can affect the normal operation of the solenoid valve.
3. Observe whether the seal of the solenoid valve is damaged. If the seal is aged or blocked by dirt, it can cause fluid leakage and affect the normal operation of the solenoid valve.
4. Measure the on/off pressure of the solenoid valve. If the pressure is too high or too low, it can also affect the normal operation of the solenoid valve.
Next, I will introduce several common faults and their solutions.
1. The solenoid valve cannot remain energized. At this point, we can check if the power supply is normal. If the power supply is normal, it may be caused by a broken or burnt electromagnetic coil. The coil can be replaced to solve the problem.
2. The solenoid valve cannot be turned off properly. This may be caused by stuck valve cores or aging seals. We can clean or replace the seals to solve this problem.
3. The pressure of the solenoid valve is too high after being energized. This may be caused by high pipeline pressure or high pressure of the solenoid valve body. We can reduce the pipeline pressure or replace the solenoid valve body to solve this problem.
