Principle symbol of pressure switch
Pressure switch is an important safety component used in electrical systems to monitor the pressure of pipelines or equipment. When the equipment pressure exceeds the specified range, the pressure switch will immediately activate, sound an alarm, and turn off the equipment power to protect the equipment and personal safety.
Firstly, let’s take a look at a simple pressure switch symbol, which mainly consists of a switch box, a piston, and a sensing component. When the pressure of the equipment increases, the piston will be compressed, causing the sensing components inside the switch box to interact with the surface of the piston, thereby changing the position of the switch box and placing the switch in an open or closed state.
In addition, pressure switches have other different symbol representations, such as a piston with an arrow representing the starting pressure of the pressure switch, and a square box representing the measurement range of the pressure switch.
